Midnight Sun was going to be the Twilight Saga written again from Edwards point of view. Stephanie Meyer wasn't even halfway done when someone hacked into her computer and posted the book online. She said that she didn't want her readers to expirence Midnight Sun before it was completed. Now she will no longer continue writing this series, because she states:
"With writing, the way you feel changes everything. If I tried to write Midnight Sun now, in my current frame of mind, James would probably win and all the Cullens would die, which wouldn't dovetail too well with the original story. In any case, I feel too sad about what has happened to continue working on Midnight Sun, and so it is on hold indefinitely."
It is upseting that someone violated her work, and now she will no longer continue it, because it would have been interesting to read.. although her draft is posted on her website... even though it is unfinished. You can read it at http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/midnightsun.html
